We often believe that we should aim to be the superhero our world needs. Yet Jena Lee Nardella speaks about the importance of loving and caring for the world every single day, rather than saving it. Her temptation as a social entrepreneur was to save the world, but Jena discovered her calling was to love and care for her part in it. Jena reminds us to never lose sight of who we are and more importantly, whose we are, because of the depth of work we have taken on.

Jena Lee Nardella is an activist, author, and the co-founder of Blood: Water, a nonprofit organization whose mission is to put an end to the HIV/AIDS and water crises in Africa. Jena’s first book was published in 2015, One Thousand Wells: How an Audacious Goal Taught Me to Love the World Instead of Save It.
